A World First: FineTek’s Electromagnetic Water Meter Receives OIML R.49:2024 Certificate

FineTek has become the first manufacturer in the world to obtain an OIML R.49 (2024 edition) certificate for an electromagnetic water meter.

We are proud to share a major milestone. FineTek’s electromagnetic water meter has been certified under OIML R.49, 2024 edition, issued by the International Organization of Legal Metrology (OIML). 

What Is OIML R.49?

OIML R.49 is an international recommendation for water meters for cold potable water. It sets out metrological performance requirements, technical requirements and test methods for water meters. The 2024 edition is the latest revision and reflects modern meter technology. A certificate shows that a product has been assessed against an internationally recognized benchmark for accuracy and reliability.
