The data covers the Finetek Co., Ltd.-Tucheng Head Office, Tucheng No. 2 Factory, and Yilan Factory. Total gas emissions: 1,821.660 mt CO²e in 2023.

- Intensity
Intensity (kg CO2e/turnover) refers to the greenhouse gas emissions produced per unit of turnover in terms of carbon dioxide equivalent, which reflects the energy efficiency and environmental impact of an enterprise or industry. The lower the intensity, the more efficient the energy use the less greenhouse gas emissions. The carbon dioxide emission intensity of purchased electricity in 2023 was 0.4925 kg CO2/NT$1,000.

Reduction target: Since emissions are closely related to revenue, the company's goal is to reduce greenhouse gas intensity by 1% each year and 10% in 10 years. In 2023, the company increased by 10.95% compared to 2022. However, the company did not reach the target. The company will continue to strengthen the promotion of energy conservation and carbon reduction. The policies are as follows:
• Set constant temperature for office air-conditioning equipment to reduce power load, and encourage you to turn off air-Conditioning and lighting power.
• Install a water saver to avoid water waste.
• Introduce electronic sign-off and electronic document management systems to reduce paper usage and make more use of recycled paper.
• To implement waste recycling management and resource classification, and have professionals responsible for waste treatment and classification.
• Turn off lights and computers after get off work to save energy.
Water consumption
The water consumption data covers Finetek Tucheng head factory, Tucheng No. 2 Factory and Yilan Factory. There was no external verification agency for both years, and the data was collected by ourselves. The data for 2022 and 2023 are as follows:

Reduction target: The company's goal is to reduce annual water consumption by 1% and 10% in 10 years. However, the increase in 2023 was 2.8%, mainly due to the different product mix of our company, which required water testing. The company will continue to strengthen publicity, and the improvement direction is to remind employees to save water, install water-saving devices, add circulating water equipment to equipment, and strengthen the reuse of recycled water.

Note: Since our company’s waste is incinerated by a qualified professional waste treatment company and recycled and reused by professional recyclers, it is all harmless waste.
Reduction target: The company's goal is to reduce the total weight of waste by 1% and reduce it by 10% in 10 years. The total weight of waste in 2023 decreased by 0.8% compared with 2022, which is close to the target value of 1%. The main reason is that after the promotion of production in 2023, the packaging materials were concentrated and recycled. In 2022, the average packaging materials and waste cartons were about 0.43 tons. In 2023, it was reduced to 0.42 tons. The company will continue to improve in the areas of policy advocacy, carton collection, recycling and reuse, and accurate calculation of effective use of materials.
- Waste management
Our company mainly focuses on the manufacturing of industrial sensors. All domestic waste from business employees and general waste generated from business activities are incinerated by qualified professional waste treatment companies. The metal processing pieces and scraps produced during the processing and manufacturing process are recycled and reused by professional recyclers. Achieve conservation in the use of natural resources, implement resource recycling and zero waste, minimize waste production and maximize resource recycling, and promote material recycling and resource recycling.
- Waste generation and significant waste-related impacts
The Group's manufacturing and welding of electronic components all adopt lead-free processes, and no harmful lead is produced. The factory's manufacturing activities are purely hardware processing and component assembly testing, so no SDS hazardous substances listed in the safety data are produced. The principle of waste management is to recycle and reuse waste if it has recycling value and is priced by environmental protection companies. If it is general garbage generated from worthless business activities, it should be incinerated by a qualified professional waste disposal company.
