Magnetic Float Level
Indicator
|
|
Fluid Level Transmission irregular |
-
First, check if power source is properly
connected. If it is not, please refer to the
operating manual on the proper connection
method.
|
-
Measure the +24V and O/P voltage using
a voltmeter. The reading should read between
13V~36V. If it reads otherwise, check for
irregularities along the cable and/or connected equipment.
|
-
If the voltage reading in step 2 is correct,
use a milliampere multimeter to measure the
current on the 4~20MA relay. Replace the
product or contact our customer service
personnel for readings out of the 4~20MA
range.
|
-
Check the voltage on the IN and COM,
normal voltage should read around 2.5V.
Remove the EXC wire if the voltage is
excessively low. Get another voltage reading.
If voltage reads normal, this indicates a faulty
magnetic module. If voltage is still excessively low,
the signal switch might be damaged.
Replace
signal switch or contact our customer service
personnel.

Float is at the bottommost position, yet the flag board is not reset.
|
The flag board cannot follow the speed at
which the float drops. Install throttling gear
to stabilize the fluctuating speed of the liquid level.
|
The flag board piece is unable to flip over, or the colour indicator not stable.
|
Confirm that there are no magnetic elements inside and
around the chamber. Stroke it once over with a magnet
after cleansing to obtain a homogeneous colour display.
|
Colour indicator rotates a full 360° |
The float is over-magnetized. Contact
customer service personnel for a replacement.S
|
Faulty contact/relay switch. |
Measure the resistance when the magnet
is placed near the contact/relay switch.
It should not go above 300m Ω. Resistance
should go above 10MΩ when the magnet
is removed.
Otherwise, replace the contact/relay switch.

Continuous float-type
level indicator.
|
Unable to connect the 2 wire output signal switch to the indicator. |
Refer to the operating manual , connect the
signal switch’s +24V connector to the
indicator’s +24V connection. Connect the
signal switch’s O/P connection to the
indicator’s AI connection. Should the device
fail to work after powering up, contact our
customer service personnel.

Rotary Paddle Level Switch |
No Output Signal |
-
Check to see if the power distribution box
has a burning smell. If it has, contact our
customer service personnel for a replacement.
|
-
Verify that the S.G of the medium is not too big
,change to a bigger paddle size if possible.
|
-
Device installed at a inappropriate place,
if feed material comes into contact with device,
install a protective plate cover to prevent this,
or shift the position where the device is installed.
|
Internal switch component falls off |
-
Check for the presence of vibration-causing
equipment within the container.
|
-
Buy replacement parts, remove vibration-
causing equipment to prevent the internal
switch components from falling off in future.
|
Switch damaged due to moisture
Seepage /accumulation.
|
1. Drain away accumulated water and heat-dry
affected switch. Confirm that the ground insulation
is above 100 MΩ. Finally, follow stipulated guidelines
for wiring arrangements and ensuring that all slits and
openings are all sealed.
2. Ensure that the cable gland faces downwards. |
